I loved this trip, the scenery was absolutely stunning and I never new that the Kawarau river starred as the river Anduin in Lord of the Rings. The rafting guides made this trip fun and we had plenty of white water action.

I took 3 friends that were over from the U.K to Queenstown for the weekend and we decided at the last minute to go white water rafting, we booked in on the Kawarau trip because this was the only trip left with seats. The girl that organized the tickets for us was very helpful! Then it just got better… the bus driver was very nice, then arriving at the base ALL the staff were so helpful and the way everything was set out was great! The service was outstanding, even the girl standing at the bottom of the stairs directing us to changing rooms and bathrooms gave us great service! Then in the bus Mark talked to us about the trip, he made the bus trip very entertaining as well as informational. In this case Mark was also our guide for the river too and we all had the best time! We played around on the river, went for a bit of a swim and of course went through some awesome rapids!
Overall the experience was amazing! Mark was a top guide! And all the staff were so helpful!
