Awesome Trip

Throughout the winter the rafting trip begins with an awesome helicopter flight over Skippers Canyon - the scenery is breath-taking and it is a fantastic flight. You get dropped off by the river's edge and have a safety briefing before heading off down the river in the rafts. The guides are brilliant, very safety-conscious but yet very fun and the rapids are awesome as well! After the trip back at the rafting base there are hot showers and a sauna to get warmed up. Do it and enjoy!

We did this in the middle of winter and chose to do the helicopter ride up. A little more pricy but definately worth it. The scenery was amazing. Totally out of this world. I would recommend this to anyone. I was a little scared about the rafting but was encouraged by my friends who all wanted to go. Actually found the thing a lot less scary than I thought. The staff were very professional and explained things really well.
Definately a must in Queenstown!
